Sponsor Our Newsletters

Want to get your business in front of our audience? Sponsor a spot in our newsletters! We’re now offering limited ad blocks to promote your product, service, audition posting, or upcoming event.

How It Works

At OrchestraAuditions.com, we’re committed to keeping our website ad-free to ensure visitors have the best possible experience. To make this happen, we offer limited ad space in our audition-update newsletters.

Pricing by audience

We offer several options to advertise your business and let you choose whichever best fits your goals.

Our newsletters are sent approximately once per week and are segmented by instrument. You can choose to advertise to a full orchestra (all subscribers), to an orchestra section (strings, winds, brass), or to a specific instrument. Pricing is based on the option you select:

  • Full Orchestra - all subscribers

    • $0.01 per subscriber

  • Orchestra Section - strings, winds, or brass

    • $0.025 per subscriber

  • Single instrument

    • $0.04 per subscriber

Total price is calculated based on historic average open rates. For example, if 1,000 people subscribe to Violin updates but the average open rate is 70%, your rate will be based on 700 subscribers rather than the full 1,000.

Commitment options

Ad space begins at a minimum commitment of 4 newsletters. The more issues you sponsor, the more you save:

  • 8 newsletters = 10% discount

  • 12 newsletters = 20% discount

You may select any number of newsletters to sponsor. Commitments greater than 8 or 12 will automatically receive the discounts listed above.

Once you select a package, you will retain the original rate for the duration of the contract, regardless of subscriber growth.

Contracts may not exceed 16 newsletters and must be renewed at the current subscriber count rate should you wish to continue.

Cost examples

(numbers not representative of actual subscriber count)

  1. John works at the box office for a local orchestra, and he’s looking to sell tickets for an upcoming performance. He chooses to advertise to all subscribers, as it’s relevant to all members of the orchestra. The performance is two months away, so he chooses to commit for 8 weeks.

    • 2,000 subscribers x $0.010 per subscriber x 80% open rate = $16 per newsletter x 8 newsletters = $128 (10% discount) = $115.20 total cost

  2. Anne runs an online business where she sells strings. She is only looking to advertise to string instruments, as her business is not relevant to woodwind or brass musicians. She chooses to commit to the maximum contract length of 16 newsletters to lock herself into the best possible rate.

    • 700 subscribers x $0.025 per subscriber x 80% open rate = $14 per newsletter x 16 newsletters = $224 (20% discount) = $179.20 total cost

  3. Dan owns a business where he designs and manufactures mutes for brass instruments. Recently, he’s seen a dip in sales for trombone mutes, so he’s looking to advertise directly to trombonists so he can boost sales. He wants to test how well the ad works before committing longer than 4 weeks.

    • 300 subscribers x $0.040 per subscriber x 80% open rate = $9.60 per newsletter x 4 newsletters = $38.40 total cost
